YWCA Bethlehem, offers a program for young girls aimed at advancing STEM goals.
YWCA Bethlehem Tech GYRLS Program is a dynamic initiative aimed at empowering young girls in the Bethlehem area through Science Technology Engineering and Math. Recognizing the critical role of STEM careers play in shaping our future, this program is designed to bridge the gender gap in STEM fields by providing young girls with access to innovative learning experiences, mentorship, and resources.
Our program offers a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of students in grades 3 through 5. Through a series of hands-on projects, participants explore various aspects of technology, including coding, robotics, digital literacy, science, and mathematics.
Our goal is to empower girls with the knowledge, skills, and confidence.
YWCA Bethlehem fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students collaborate, experiment, and learn innovate skills through teamwork and group projects, participants develop essential communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, preparing them for future endeavors.
YWCA Bethlehem’s Tech GYRLS Program is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
